Guests can relax on the glider or swing on the patio, with a latte in hand, and watch the sunrises or the moon rising over the Franklin Mountains. The stillness and quiet of the rural surroundings provide a wonderful rest after the end of a long cross-country trek or a hectic work day.
You can watch the quail and jackrabbits feeding and hopefully catch a glimpse of a roadrunner passing through. The desert bustles with activity all day and all night. An extensive array of birds can be seen and heard around the property.
There is a Meditation Circle, based upon the indigenous people's Medicine Wheel design, located off the back patio. It overlooks the open space of the arroyo and provides a space for reflection, and quiet time. The beginnings of a native plant garden are there as well as several benches dotted around the property.
