On business in El Paso, Texas, I researched places to stay on the internet and determined from pictures online that the most relaxing place to stay would be Casa de Suenos, in another state. Indeed, this was true. The drive from El Paso was not long, and, turning up the dirt road to the Country Inn, I found myself excited at the prospect of a silent desert night. My room was comfortable, with a wine key and glasses, plus a coffee maker, and I enjoyed both coffee and wine on my adorable patio overlooking three mountain ranges (two in two different states and one in Mexico.) Breakfast was wholesome and interesting and the proprietors are lovely, as are their dogs. Should business take me again to El Paso (or that part of New Mexico), I will surely stay at Casa de Suenos again.

This is truely a beautiful retreat. Breakfast was "made to order". George and Marlene are delightful inkeepers and make you feel welcomed. I've already recommended it to 3 of my friends.
